THE ASSEMBLY

A high energy, story-led session introducing:​

  • Strength and self-control

  • Handling frustration and setbacks

  • Friendship and loyalty

  • Respect in sport and classroom life

  • The importance of internal character​

​

The assembly sets the tone and creates a shared language across the year group

​

FOLLOW-UP WORKSHOPS

Smaller group sessions deeper the themes through:​

​

  • Guided discussion

  • Scenario-based learning

  • Emotional vocabulary building

  • Reflection exercises​

  • Practical tools for handling conflict and pressure

 

These sessions are interactive and developmentally appropriate, helping boys internalise the lessons rather than simply hear them.

CURRICULUM & PASTORAL ALIGNMENT

Our Prep programmes support:​

  • PHSE learning objectives (self-awareness, relationships, emotional literacy)

  • Character education frameworks

Early formation creates lasting strength

It was a fantastic assembly. Nathan's dynamism, warmth, delivery and openness were so well received. The students were hanging on his every word and the messages he had to share were absolutely bang on. It was fabulous for our students to hear all this from someone they could really look up to and relate to in a way that they can't always with us. It's so vital for our students to see somone who is modelling emotional literacy - It's fair to say that's something we often feel we need to work on with our Y8's and Y9's. The adults got a lot out of it too.
