It was a fantastic assembly. Nathan's dynamism, warmth, delivery and openness were so well received. The students were hanging on his every word and the messages he had to share were absolutely bang on. It was fabulous for our students to hear all of this from someone they could really look up to and relate to in a way that they can’t always with us. It’s so vital for our students to see someone who is modelling emotional literacy – it’s fair to say that’s something that we often feel we need to work on with our Y8s and Y9s. The adults in the room got an awful lot out of it too.
